A Short Poem

Teddy wouldn’t eat a filthy pig
Teddy wouldn’t wear a filthy wig
Teddy thought the wig to be,
As filthy as he thought the pig
What Teddy saw in the mirror
Was anything but a faulty figure
But what he didn’t realize
Was the fault in his own eyes
So he never saw what he really was;
He never looked through another’s eyes.
