2 “Take your son, your only son—yes, Isaac, whom you love so much—and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you.” (Genesis 22:2 NLT)
As I’m writing this even I am thinking, “can I do this?”. It is a lot to take in, it’s a lot to do. But then, thinking about it from the view of who is asking, it really doesn’t mean anything. God requires us to be able to give back. If God requires anything of you, it’s in your best interest to obey. God is the giver of everything we have in this life. He is able to give us what we have and much more beyond our imagination, who then are we not to be able to obey?
You might wonder, “how can God take back what He gave me?”, truth is, He is not taking anything from you, instead, He’s testing you, He’s teaching you something and He’s preparing you for the real deal. This also applies to our offerings, tithes and giving in general. Don’t withhold it like Ananias and Sapphira
Don’t worry, God can never mess up your “plans”.
33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people. (1 Corinthians 14:33 NLT)
You can never go wrong obeying God and giving back.
Have blessed week!!!!
