18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV)
Thanksgiving is an act of giving thanks. It’s an expression of gratitude especially to God. It doesn’t matter the situation, it doesn’t matter the size. Even something that seems as little as you finding what to wear the next day, thank God.
After all, it is He who provided all you have and all that exists. What is required of you is to simply say, “Thank you” with all sincerity of heart.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:17 KJV)
But it doesn’t end there, thanksgiving can also be to human beings.
Sometimes, all people need to know is that you appreciate them or you’re grateful for what they’re doing or they’ve done. Both to you and for you.
So, show some love this week.
Thanksgiving and love work hand in hand one way or the other. Say thank you.
Have a blessed week!
