Fruits that are better than fruits

Spurs

22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. 25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. 26 Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another. – Galatians 5:22-26 (NLT)

The fruits of the spirit:

– Love
– Joy
– Peace
– Patience
– Kindness
– Goodness
– Faithfulness
– Gentleness
– Self-control

Yes, they are like more words from the dictionary but they have way deeper meanings.

In the ordinary world, nutritionists, doctors etc. would advice you to eat more fruits. Reason? Easy! They’re about the healthiest foods to assist your physical growth and development.

Now, these fruits of the spirit aren’t actual fruits you eat with your mouth but they’re fruits you eat with your body, soul and spirit – you eat them with your heart and mind.

They’re the absolute best to assist with your growth and development but more on a spiritual level.

These fruits matter and you should possess them and exercise them.

The good news is, they’re free! (Okay, you may need to purchase a bible if you don’t already have one) – else, they’re free and you can get to know more about them in the bible. Everyone has access to them, all you need is the desire for them and the Spirit of God will grant you your desires.

I pray that God blesses you with the fruits of the spirit.

Have a blessed week!

Scheduled from next week is posts on each fruit of the spirit in a format like this post on Forgiveness (you should totally check it out).

Don’t stop coming back, don’t stop refreshing.

Don’t feed only your body, feed your soul as well.
