Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. – 1 Corinthians 4:2 (NIV)
The quality of being loyal, devoted and true.
This is another fruit of the Spirit (see Galatians 5:22-23) we ought to possess as children of God/ as believers.
It’s not enough to live a life where you cannot be trusted. A life where you move around like an opportunist seeking what pleades only you without careful considetation for others or your actions. Such living is what contributes to an unfulfilled life.
Faithfulness and trust are like egg white and egg yolk. They come together. One doesn’t exist without the other. In fact, they’re synonymous.
God is faithful.
“Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments…” – Deuteronomy 7:9
You too can be faithful. You too should be faithful.
Faithful to the people you relate with, faithful to your work, faithful to yourself.
Stay true.
Have a blessed week!
